Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Oil Minister unveils a number of projects within this year

Minister of Oil and Minerals Aws al-Awd said that his ministry is seeking to implement a number of projects in the temporary capital Aden and other liberated provinces this year.
In a statement to Saba, he said the ministry is planning to complete the construction of an oil pipeline from Jannat Hunt block to west of Ayad block which will help resume the production in three major oil blocks (Safer 18, Janna Hunt 5 and SI Osaylan. The pipeline will be extended to Nushaymaa terminal on the Arabian Sea.
He said that a series of meetings with the stakeholders in the LNG gas project have been held to discuss resuming the project's operation and securing the liquefaction plant with the coming five to six months.
He said that the power plant of Aden refinery will also be upgraded to increase its capacity.
