The International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed allocating USD 41 million for fish and agriculture sectors in Yemen providing that the government should define the projects within inclusive program.
In a meeting for Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najeeb al-Awj with KhalidaBouzar, IFAD Director for the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia on Tuesday, an action plan for settling Yemen's previous commitments and re-scheduling them were discussed.
The two parties discussed re-allocating funds of former projects and loans estimated at USD two million.
They agreed on resuming fund's activities in Yemen via re-opening its offices after closure lasted for four years.
