Republic of Yemen was elected as a member of the UNICEF Executive Board.
In a session convened on Tuesday in the UN Economic and Social Council Yemen was elected as a representative of Asia and Pacific group for three years.
The Executive Board is a legislature commission of the UNICEF which is responsible for securing governmental support and supervising over the UNICEF's activities.
