Prime Minister DrMa'een Abdulmalik convened a meeting on Thursday in the temporary capital Aden included senior officials of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The session intended to discuss topics relating to the due payments for the Yemeni students abroad.
The discussions touched upon irregularities about scholarships and actions of the higher education sector.
The Prime Minister stated that the government is very keen on regularly transferring due payments of the Yemeni students abroad.
He urged the ministries in charge to immediately work on transferring the due payments of students as soon as possible.
The Ministry's officials detailed the Prime Minister about procedures have been accomplished to pay the students' due payments for the first quarter of 2019.
The officials affirmed that the students will be paid their due payments in the second half of this month.
