Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has called upon the fishery authorities to pay more attention to conducting scientific research and developing infrastructure in the field of fisheries investments.
Addressing a meeting held by the Cooperative Union of Fisheries, he called for upgrading the quality check on local production and working to develop the fishery wealth.
He said that the government as per the directions of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi pays special attention to fisheries being a backbone for the national economy and a source of revenues for the state budget.
