Speaker of the Parliament Sultan Al-Barakani and senior members of the parliament's presidential board met the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong here today.

The Speaker expressed Yemen's appreciation of China's support for Yemen to end the Houthi coup and restore state institutions back.

The Chinese ambassador stressed the unanimity of the UN Security Council on the implementation of UN resolutions, especially resolution 2216 and the Stockholm Agreement on Hodeidah.

He expressed China's readiness to support the House of Representatives with technical aid and the Yemeni people with humanitarian aid.
