Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Mareb Governor seeks Saudi support for implementing projects

Governor of Mareb General Sultan al-Arada discussed on Friday with Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, the General Monitor of Saudi Reconstruction Program in Yemen Mohammad Al Jaber key projects Saudi Arabia pledged to finance in Mareb.

The projects include development and humanitarian projects.

The two parties discussed implementing Mareb Airport Project Saudi Arabia committed to finance and speeding up measures of kicking it.

They also discussed possible projects in fields of health, education, water and humanitarian for improving basic services under huge challenges facing the province over receiving big numbers of displaced people and refugees from Houthi-held provinces and improving living conditions of the people.

Governor al-Arada reviewed a number of projects to be financed by the Saudi program led by furnishing and equipping government institutions in the province, establishing Medicine College in Saba University and other service projects.
