Kuwait renews its call for implementing in full the Stockholm Agreement about Hodeidah, its three seaports, prisoner-exchange and understandings about Taiz to get efforts have been made by the UN's envoy to Yemen accomplished.
Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Mansour al-Autypee urged full implementation of Stockholm Agreement as a key step forward to get the UN-led efforts to establish peace accomplished.
In his address to the International Security Council's session held Monday about Yemen al-Autypee said" These efforts aiming to reach political solution based on the three terms of reference for peace including GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolutions, namely 2216".
He added" After four months of Stockholm Agreement the UNSC has responded actively endorsing two resolutions 2451, 2452, besides that the council has been closely following up the implementation steps and obstacles faced by".
Al-Autypee stressed on the importance of implementing Stockholm Agreement in full as it is an ideal gateway to an overall political settlement in Yemen.
