President of Singapore Halimah Ya'qoup received on Thursday credential papers of Dr Abdulghani Ashamiri as non-resident Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to her own country.
Halima welcomed Ashamiri, wishing him all the best in his mission to further boost Yemeni-Singaporean bilateral ties and cooperation.
The Ambassador briefed the Singaporean President on the latest developments about the situations in Yemen including the UN-led efforts to deescalate the conflict and achieve peace.
