Workshop on food security information held in Aden

A workshop held Monday in the temporary capital Aden about a program aims to boost information about food security and early warning.

The workshop organized by World Food and Agricultural Organization "FAO" in conjunction with Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and funded by the European Union "EU" .

60 participants engaged in the deliberations came from the governorates of Hadramout, Al-Maharah, Socotra, Aljawf, Marib and Taiz. They represented government's ministries and
authorities in charge.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb al-Aweg and Head of the EU Mission in Yemen Antonia Calvo contributed to the discussions.
