The Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Didushkin and the Deputy Minister of Public Works Hussein al-Aqrabi has inspected the damages of the Russian consulate building left by the Houthi war against Aden city in 2015. Didushkin renewed his country's insistence on rehabilitating and re-equipping the consulate.
Separately Didushkin met Deputy Premier, the Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maysari and discussed the political and humanitarian situations and the international support for the government.
Al-Maysari appreciated the Russian support and demanded a serious Russian stance in support of the government.
He confirmed the government's readiness to offer all facilitations for re-opening the Russian consulate in Aden which will hopefully encourage the consulates of other countries to open in in the temporary capital.
