Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Almysari met Thursday in the temporary capital Aden with the American Ambassador to Yemen Mathew Tuller and his accompanying delegation.
Yemeni-American security cooperation mainly in countering terrorism was key focus of Almysari's discussions with Tuller.
The conversations also touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena.
Almysari highly praised the American support for the legitimate Yemeni government; deeply appreciating the U.S. security assistance to Yemeni security services.
The American diplomat reiterated his administration's support for the Yemeni government. He stated that the U.S. is very interested in Yemen's unity and security. He affirmed that his government is willing to provide the Ministry of Interior with every necessary support to enable it doing its job effectively.
