Houthi militia has killed 62 civilians and wounded 279 more of the population of Hajur district of Hajah governorate according to the Yemeni Alliance for Documenting Violations of human rights (Rasd).
Executive Director of (Rasd) Mutaher al-Botheiji confirmed that Houthi militiamen have been launching an aggressive military operation against the villagers in the district of Hajur for more than three months, imposing strangle siege upon the area.
Addressing an audience on Thursday on the sideline of the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva, al-Botheiji stated that Houthi militi's atrocities in Hajur have been continuing against the villagers. The militiamen have detonated 24 houses, taken control over 123 farms and damaged 30 more of the peasants' properties.
