President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi convened a high-profile meeting Saturday evening included Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh, Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik, Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany and the President Board of Advisors.
The session aimed to discuss a range of developments in the Yemeni national scene.
The President stated that we're fully aware of the grave torment and hardships our people have been facing whether in government-held governorates or the putschist militia controlled regions as a result of the unfair war imposed by the rebels upon our peoples and society to serve the Iranian destabilizing policy that seeks to establish a new Hezboallah on the borders of the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia.
President Hadi said our goals are clear and our path is identified by national consensus and peace's terms of reference based on the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCRs in relevant, namely 2216.
The President touched upon underway efforts to achieve economic stability that is based on the military advancements and restoring the state for which our people backed by Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have made huge sacrifices.
The Vice President provided a brief report about combat operations in different fronts and flashpoints in the governorates of Saada, Aljawf, Albaidah and others.
For his part, Prime Minister reported about the government's efforts and progress over the past period.
The President's Advisor, Chairman of Economic Committee, Hafez Meyad touched upon the economic situation, citing the progress of improving the value of national currency and securing commodities supplies.
The Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany reported about diplomatic efforts of the Foreign Ministry and communications with the UN Special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.
