The director general of the Health and Population Office in Aden, Dr. Jamal Khadabekhsh and the Coordinator o Environmental Hygiene in the International Rescue Committee (IRC) discussed the Committee's interventions in the environmental field in a number of health facilities.

The meeting reviewed the plans of the IRC in the disposal of medical waste in a local teaching hospital and preparing skilled health workers.

Khadabekhsh praised the role of the IRC in supporting the health sector, and called for expanding the IRC's environmental hygiene services to cover health facilities in Sheikh Othman district in Aden.
