The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Fisheries, held a coordination meeting today with local partners involved in implementing an emergency program for improving the livelihoods of the most vulnerable families in Yemen.
The FAO's representatives and eight representatives of the Ministry of Fisheries and likeminded civil society organizations discussed ways of coordinating the by Saudi and Emirati project which raises public awareness about the appropriate means of fishing and conserving the fishery wealth with a view to achieving a sustainable food security.
