As many as 2897 women were killed and injured in Yemen's central city of Taiz by Houthi invaders over the past four years, a local NGO has said.
The Human Rights Information and Training Center said in a new statement that it had documented "the killing of 402 women and injury of 2495 others by bullets of the coupist Houthi militia in the period from 22 March 2015 to 31 January 2019."
"Women live difficult humanitarian situations," read the statement.
