RIYADH-SABA
The Saudi Cabinet has renewed the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to supporting Yemen in humanitarian and economic fields.
In a session presided over by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Cabinet noted that the Saudi grant of $500 million as part of the 2019 Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen and a previous grant announced earlier this year in support of Yemen's food security all represent this Saudi commitment. The Cabinet noted that by January this year the Kingdom's donations to Yemen amounted to more than $13 billion.
