FM, Dep. UN's Envoy discuss developments about implementing Stockholm Agreement

Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany held discussions on Wednesday with Deputy of the UN's Envoy Ma'een Shareim about the latest developments relating to peace and underway efforts put Stockholm's Agreement in place.
They discussed a plan suggested by the Head of Redeployment Coordination Committee Lieutenant General Michael Anker Lollesgaard to carry out first phase of redeployment. The government and Houthi militia have already agreed to carry out the plan within the scheduled specific timeline.
Conversations also touched upon prisoner-exchange deal and the joint committee charged understanding about Taiz.
Alyemany stated that Houthis' systematic plan to spoil peace's efforts has become very clear and there is no need to waste more time.
He said" The UN and International Community (IC) need to act firmly and stop Houthis' insistence on foiling everything agreed on of confidence building steps and phases". He warned that
The Foreign Minister of Hodeidah agreement will seriously undermine peace prospects and chances.
For his own part, Shoreim noted that the UN is very interested in implement Stockholm Agreement, specifically about Hodediah, nevertheless obstacles facing the implementation now and again.
