RIYADH-SABA

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Monday with Ambassador of Republic of Turkey to Yemen Farooq Boz Goz.

The session aimed to discuss Yemeni-Turkish bilateral ties and cooperation.

The Vice President welcomed the newly appointed Turkish diplomat to our country, noting that he will receive all necessary support to facilitate his missions that further boost the Yemeni-Turkish cooperation in different fields.

Mohsen briefed Goz on the latest developments about the political, economic and security situations that Yemen has been going through as a result of Iran-allied Houthi rebel militia's coup.

The Turkish diplomat reiterated his country's support for legality in Yemen. He stated that Turkey will continue to contribute to relief and humanitarian actions to help relieving the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
