Immunization team works charged carrying out Anti-Measles, Rubella Vaccination Campaign have managed to give vaccines dose to over 11 million of targeted children throughout the country.
The Nation-wide Vaccination Campaigned carried out by the Ministry of Public Health and Population from 9 through 14 of February.
Under-Secretary of the Public Health Ministry for Primary Health Care Dr Ali al-Waleedi told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the team works managed to vaccinate 11 million, 212 thousand and 567 of the targeted children, up to 87% of the total targeted group 12 million, 882 thousand and 752.
Al-Waleedi said" The percentage of children age 6 to 11 months who received the vaccine amounted up to 110 percent, while those whose age range from 12 to 59 months the percentage reached 87% and from five year up to 15 the coverage was 90% "
