UK Labor MPs form Friends of Yemen within own party

A number of Labor MPs have formed a Friends of Yemen group within their party and the UK Parliament.
The group's formation was unveiled in an event that brought together a large number of Labor MPs, shadow government officials, the Yemeni ambassador to the UK and heads of Yemeni communities I different British cities.
The group aims to push for the adoption of a new position within the Labour party to meet the aspirations of Yemenis for a sustainable peace that replaces the state of (Houthi) coup d'état and leads to building a modern democratic Yemeni state based on social justice, human rights and equal citizenship.
