The GGC's Aids Coordinator Office held its 29th session on Thursday in KSrelief Center headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting aimed to discuss relief projects and efforts carried out over previous period and the ones to be implemented in the upcoming stage in Yemen.
Deputy Minister of Local Administration—Deputy Chairman of High Relief Committee—Abdussalam Ba-Abood presented a detailed report about the humanitarian situations and relief and humanitarian efforts in our country.
He welcomed the findings of the investigations conducted by World Food Program (WFP) into the looting and stealing of the relief aids by Houthi rebel militia.
Ba-Abood voiced deep appreciation for the GCC's member states for the substantial support provided by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait through the GCC's relief and humanitarian agencies, namely KSrelief Center, ERC and KRCS.
For his part, Director of health and environmental assistance in KSrelief Center Dr Abdullah al-Moa'lim, who chaired the session, stated that the GCC's relief organizations are committed to keep on supporting relief projects and actions in all Yemeni regions per instructions of the GCC's member states' leaders.
