Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Wednesday with Governor of Shabwah province Mohammed bin Edeiw.
The governor reported to the Vice President about the situations and underway efforts have been made to re-establish security, stability and reinstate basic services in order to normalize the situations in the province.
The Vice President congratulated the newly appointed governor on his appointment and for being entrusted by the political leadership, praising the local authority efforts aiming to re-normalize the situations in Shabwah.
Mohsen expressed appreciation for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for their continuous support for Yemen and Yemenis in different fields.
The Vice President advised further efforts to improve basic services, address the populations' concerns and meet their daily life requirements.
