MASAM extracts 7,182 landmines in 4th week of January

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's demining project known as MASAM extracted during the fourth week of last January 7,182 landmines planted by the Houthis in a number of Yemeni provinces.

In a press statement, KSrelief said that MASAM extracted 89 anti-personnel landmines, 2,322 anti-vehicle landmines, 284 IEDs and 4,487 UXOs. Since it was launched into being in June 2018, MASAM has extracted 38,817 landmine planted by the terrorist militia.
The militia camouflaged their landmines in different ways securing a high casualty toll amongst children, women and elderly. The victims often sustained life-threatening wounds and lost limbs.
