Yemen's embassy in the United States has expressed its great concern over the push by US lawmakers to end the US cooperation with Saudi Arabia in supporting the Yemeni government.

A group of US Democratic and Republican politicians have vowed to advance a resolution in Congress that would end US support for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's campaign against the Houthi coupist militia in Yemen. In a statement, the embassy said the resolution, if taken will be a call to the radical militia to go ahead with their stubbornness and obstruction of political solution.

The embassy indicated that any wrong message to the Houthis at this time will have a negative effect on what have been agreed in the Stockholm talks.

The embassy called Americans interested in the Yemeni affairs, in the US government, congress, organizations and media, to verify the facts of things in Yemen and not to take the misleading concepts promoted by the Houthis and other supporters of the rogue Iranian regime.

The embassy warned of allowing the Iranian regime to go further in its support of the Houthis and, as a result, threatening the security of Yemen and the region.
