Minister of Human Rights Dr Mohammed Asker met here with Assistant Secretary General of the GCC for Legal and Legislative Affairs Hamad al-Muri.
Discussions touched upon human rights situations in Yemen in light of Houthi militia's coup and constant violations of International and Humanitarian Law.
Asker voiced appreciation for the GCC's member states for standing alongside with Yemen, largely contributing to humanitarian and relief actions that helped allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering as a result of Houthi rebel militia's coup and war.
Yemen's permanent representative to the UN in Geneva Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar was in presence.
