Under-Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr Ali al-Waleadi discussed on Thursday with representatives of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) and the UNICEF several topics relating to National Program for Immunization (NPI).
Talks touched upon challenges facing the (NPI)'s action around the country.
Dr al-Waleadi cited shortages of vaccines, cooling stores and training of staffs as the most pressing requirements need to be addressed to enable the (NPI) functioning effectively.
