Houthi rebel militia stormed on Sunday Zabid's historical library, looting significant amount of historical books and precious manuscripts. The library premises located in the historical castle of Zabid old city.
Local official told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) a group of the Houthi militiamen robbed a number of historical books and manuscripts. They even looted the library's electricity generator.
