Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Arab Coalition hits Houthi militarytargetsin Sana'a

The Arab Coalition helping Yemen's government against Houthishas struck military targetsincluding storages of drones belonging to the rebel militia in the capital Sana'a.

The Coalition's spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki said "the command of the Coalition's Combined Forces conducted on Saturday a quality military operation to destroy legitimate military targets, drone capabilities and supporting facilities, in different sites in Sana'a."

In a statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency, al-Maliki said: "The targeting [ of the facilities] followed a precise intelligence conducted over a long period of time includingsurveillance on the activities of the Houthi militia and tracking of the movements of its terrorist members."

The destroyed targets included "facilities for storingdrones, and for drone manufacturing, spare parts, installation and attaching bombs (to them)," he said. They also included facilities for launching the drones and sites of rehearsal on the planned terrorist operations.

Al-Maliki renewed the commitment of the Coalition to prevent Houthis and other terrorist organizations any access to such capabilities that put the regional and international security at stake.
