Army Spokesman: Houthi militia committed 520 breaches in Hodeida

The Spokesperson of the Military Forces General AbdoMujalli has revealed that Houthi militia committed 520 preaches to ceasefire in Hodeida since December 18, 2018 until January 17, 2019, including 212 attacks on the national army.

In a press conference held in Mareb on Thursday, Mujalli said that the national army has committed to ceasefire included in Stockholm agreement but Houthi militia continues its breaches on the national army and civilians.

He made it clear that Houthi militia's repeated breaches on Hodeida neighborhoods included firing random shells on houses of citizens and the recent one was firing Katyocha rocket on people in Rawdha area in Mareb and injured two citizens.

The military spokesperson considered targeting the government's team, who monitors breaching ceasefire in Hodeida- by a Houthidrone, is blatant challenge to the international community and its resolutions.

He called on the International Community, Security Council, the sponsors of Sweden Agreement and the Head of UN Monitoring Committee Patrick Commaert to take necessary measures against Houthi militia and committing it to abide by the ceasefire and withdraw from Hodeida and its ports.
