PM receives Turkish Deputy Interior Minister on recent developments in Yemen

Prime Minister Dr. Mo'eenAbdulmalik received on Monday Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Ismail Catakli and discussed with him a number of issues concerning relations between the two countries, recent developments in Yemen and Turkish support to the government.

Prime Minister confirmed that the government exerts its outmost efforts for improving economic and service situations in the transitional capital Aden and the liberated provinces and made accomplishments for improving the value of the local currency and protected the national economy through adopting a number of quick solutions and measures.

He highlighted focus on supporting health and educationalsectors and economic and service projects, which meet people needs and reflects practical transfer into recovery stage from the war triggered by Houthi militia.

Prime Minister valued efforts and support of the Turkish government to Yemen in different fields, confirming that this support will continue to be remembered by the government and the Yemeni people.

For his part, the Turkish official confirmed that Yemen always gets keenness and concern of the Turkish leadership, pointing out that Turkish President issued directives of authorizing a team to study the situation in Yemen and report on relief and humanitarian assistances.

He confirmed that the aims of his visit to Yemen focus on evaluating humanitarian needs and for coordination for implementing relief projects.

He also pointed out that the Turkish Government follows up political and field developments in Yemen and denounces Houthi terrorist attack against al-Anad base in Lahj province and condoles on the death of a number of soldiers and officers and hoped quick recovery to the injured people.

He renewed support of the Government of Turkey to Yemen and continuous assistancesby relief agencies to the people.
