A landmine laid by the Houthiskilled and injured eight civilians in the central Yemen city besieged by the rebel militia.
A local sourcetold Saba that "the landmine killed two people and injured six others as it exploded in WadiSala," an area in the east of the city.
The injured, including two children, were hospitalized by their relatives.
Locals say the terrorist militia planted large numbers of landmines in the neighborhoods of Wadi Salah which has so far killed a large number of civilians.
Governmental sources and NGOs estimate that the Houthishave planted more than one million landmines since the beginning of the war in 2015.
