Steering Committee of the projects funded by the European Union (EU) and carried out by the UNICEF held a meeting Sunday in the Jordanian capital Amman.

The session chaired by Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population Dr Abdullah Dahan.

The discussions focused on the community health workers program which designed to increase the range of offering primary health services to the population in the far remote regions.

Health reality in Yemen including requirements, challenges, role of partners in managing difficulties facing health sector were also touched upon.
