Yemeni activists have highlighted the Houthi practice of "bulldozing" multiculturalism and deepening sectarianism in the country in its place.
In a seminar held on the sidelines of peace talks between the government the Houthimilitants in the Swedish capital on Wednesday, female human rights activists Mawaheb al-Hamzi, Liza al-Kadasi and Arwa al-Dhubhani, agreed that the militia's infusion of puritan sectarian ideology into school curricula and forcing of public employees to attend sectarian radicalization courses has been leading to "bulldozing" multiculturalism which Yemen has been marked by and instead deepened sectarianism in the country.
