Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mansour al-Aweg discussed with the Regional Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) on Monday the organization's projects in Yemen financed by the World Bank with USD 150 million.
The two also discussed the solar energy project with the cost of USD 50 million and projects plans for 2019.
The meeting dealt also with priorities of infrastructure projects and the government's vision on development projects and encouraging small projects, which will provide a number of work opportunities, as well as creating partnership with private sector for finding cash to development projects.
Al-Aweg praised the role of the UN organizations working in development and humanitarian fields in Yemen, confirming readiness of the government for facilitating challenges facing their projects.
