Strengthening academic cooperation between Yemen, Saudi Arabia discussed

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein ba-Salama discussed with Saudi Education Minister Ahmad Al-Isa on Sunday strengthening academiccooperation between the two countries.
The meeting dealt with situations of Yemeni students studying in Saudi universities and possible increase of scholarships provided by the kingdom to Yemen in higher studies, as well as alleviating challenges facing Yemeni students.
The meeting also tackled baptizing certificates issued from Yemen, reorganizing Yemeni university's positions in accordance with applied principles and rules in the kingdom, registering Yemeni students in Saudi electronic universities and inviting Saudi higher education minister to visit universities in the transitional capital Aden.
Ba-Salama valued great support provided by the kingdom to Yemen under difficult conditions the country goes through and facilitations provided to Yemeni students in Saudi universities.
