The ninth, 10 and 11 batches from credits of importing basic goods have reached USD 56, 8 million and € 663 thousand from the account of Saudi deposit in the Central Bank of Yemen.
In a release issued on Tuesday by the bank, it confirmed that the Saudi Finance Ministry agreed on the three batches from credits of importing basic goods which include wheat, rice, tomato oil, sugar, milk and corns.
The bank made it clear that the credits do not exceed 12 days from receiving the bank the documents of commercial bank's credits until final approval by Saudi party, pointing out that Saudi approval take from five to seven days currently.
The bank urged importers to head to concerned banks for finalizing measures required for finalizing covering procedures taken by the central bank.
