Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Prime Minister MaeenAbdulmalik welcomed the pledge of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to provide an additional $500 worth of food aid to Yemen to be channeled through international organizations.
In a statement to Saba, Abdulmaliksaid the importance of this initiative lies in the fact that it will benefit more than 12 million people from the most affected categories especially malnourished children, children under the age of five, school children, and elderly. The beneficiaries will be from all Yemen's provinces.
He appreciated the Saudi and Emirati stand by the side of the Yemeni people on all levels, including supporting with restoration of stability anddevelopment back to Yemen.
He called on the humanitarian relief organizations to intensify their efforts to deliver more assistance to all parts of Yemen.
