Fatah values Saudi-UAE initiative of USD 500 million

Minister of Local Administration, the Head of the Supreme Relief Committee Abdulraqeeb Fatah has praised the recent Saudi-UAE move "Imdad" or (supply) for providing Yemen with USD 500 million for filling the humanitarian food gap and malnutrition in cooperation with world organizations.
The move was announced about on Tuesday during a press conference to the General Sponsor of king Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities Abdullah al-Rabi'a and UAE State Minister for International Cooperation Reem al-Hashemi in the UAE.
The Imdad targets 10-12 million poor.
The new support targets more affected categories, malnourished children, children under five, school children, pregnant and nursing women and female family supporters as well as aged and patents, said Fatah on Tuesday.
Fatah called on the international organizations to make use of these funds and double relief programs across the country for improving humanitarian situation.
