Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed Asaadi and a team from the United Nations Development Program discussed in the Jordanian capital on Tuesday the contents of the UNDP’s humanitarian response plan for Yemen.
They took stock of the UNDP’s plans for the periods 2016-2019 and what was achieved to promote the resilience of the Yemeni people during the time of the ongoing war )since 2015).
Asaadi highlighted the importance of coordinating with the ministry in selecting regions and the criteria of identifying projects and needs.
He praised the donors and called for more assistance to the Yemeni people in these difficult times.
