Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh visited on Tuesday the headquarters of the Arab Coalition forces accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Taher Al-Aqeeli.
The Vice President was received by Brig. Gen. Awn al-Qarni, the commander of the Coalition forces in Marib, Brig. Gen. Ahmad al-Mesaferi, the commander of the UAE forces, Brig. Gen. Sultan al-Zaabi and other Coalition commanders.
He closely looked at the efforts the brotherlymember states of the Arab Coalition are exerting in supporting the government and armed forces of Yemen toward defeating the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
The Vice President praised the efforts of the Saudi-led alliance and the great contribution to them by the United Arab Emirates.
He said hailed the Coalition's sacrificesaffirming that Yemen willremain in its Arab fold impregnable in the face of the Iranian sabotage agendas against it.
On his part, al-Qarniaffirmed the continued support for the government and for restoring the Yemeni state and supporting the efforts of the Yemeni armed forces.
