Ashoaibi, DAFG discuss situation of antiquities, manuscripts in Yemen

Yemen's Ambassador to Berlin Dr Yahyah Ashoaibi met Monday with Vice President of German-Arab Friendship Association (DAFG) Dr Claus-Peter Haase.

Discussions devoted to deal the situation in Yemen and how do German media deal with.

Situation of antiquities and manuscripts in the countries experiencing conflict was key point in the conversations.

The Ambassador cited the Yemeni government's efforts to preserve antiquities and manuscripts.

Dr Haase stated that the DAFG in partnership with German Museums and National Liberary in Berlin can contribute to organizing arts and folkloric exhibitions for Yemen.

" several cultural events will take place in 2019 Yemen's cultural heritage will be displayed to introduce Yemeni civilization", said Haase.
