Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh held a meeting with the heads of a number of departments of the Ministry of Defense in the presence of the Chief of Staff General Taher Al-Aqeeli.
They discussed the developments and efforts exerted in building the army and cooperation toward the objective of protecting the national gains.
He highlighted the importance of the role of the army military in toppling the Houthi militia and raising the flag of the unified Yemen in all parts of the country.
He said, "Yemen's present sufferingis because of the Houthi coup against the government and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference with support and funding from Iran." He called oneveryone to work to restore the state.
He thanked the Arab Coalition countries led by Saudi Arabia for their support to Yemen in all fields, which provided, including the economic and political fields.
He hailed the heroic warriors of the army who are confronting the Houthi militants on all fronts, Hodeidah, Beidah, Sa'ada, Lahj, Haradh, Hiran, Aljawf, Nehm and Taiz.
In a separate meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs Major General Dr. Ahmed Al-Moosai, Ali Mohsendiscussed the mechanisms to activate and develop the performance of the security services and ways to complete their restoration and stabilizing law and order.
