Activities of First Forum for Employment started Wednesday in the temporary capital Aden.
The forum organized by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Yemeni government.
The project aimed to create job-opportunity for young people through communication with public and private-sector employers and job-seekers.
Some 120 of the companies contributed to the project, provided 250 jobs and 2000 job-seekers were contacted, according to Bothainah Assadi, Head of Team of Developing Labor and Achieve Stability and Success in Yemen.
Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Hussein Baslamah and Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Dr Abduolrazaq Al-Ashwal contributed to the inauguration session.
