VP discusses situations in Al-Maharah, appreciates Saudi fuels donation

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh and Prime Minister Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik discussed Monday a range of topics relating the situations in the country, on top of all economic and humanitarian situations.

The Prime Minister reported to the Vice President about the situations in Al-Maharah province and measures taken by the government to manage the consequences left by Luban tropical storm.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen applauded the government's decision about allocating a budget and setting up a committee to alleviate the affected population in al-Maharah, reinstate basic services, mitigate the population suffering and manage the damages caused the natural disaster. He also highly appreciated the supportive stance by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in largely contributing to relief and sheltering actions as well as to development.

The Vice President Also reiterated thanks and appreciation for the (KSA) headed by Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince, His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud for the fuels grant ordered by King Salman which launched today, it will be very helpful to our national economy.

The Vice President urged intensive efforts to alleviate the peoples suffering, improving their living conditions. He advised all political constituencies to contribute to maintaining security and stability, creative helpful environment for investment and help the government to do its job successfully.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen also reaffirmed that legitimate leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi is very interested in achieving sustainable and permanent peace in accordance with the three terms of reference because this very necessary to address Yemen's problems and improve Yemenis' living conditions.
