Yemen's Ambassador to Vienna, Austria, Haitham Shuja' Addin met Wednesday with Adviser of the Austrian President for Foreign Affairs Bitina Crepur.
Shuja' Addin detailed Crepur about the ongoing events in Yemen; citing the economic hardships and harsh humanitarian situations that Yemeni people have been enduring as a result of Iran-backed Houthi militia in 2014.
The Ambassador pointed out the government's efforts aiming to manage the economic troubles and humanitarian crisis which has been further exacerbated by the natural disaster of the tropical storm that hit Al-Maharah.
He highlighted the increasingly growing humanitarian needs, reiterating the Yemeni government's call on friendly nations to offer humanitarian aids.
The Austrian official reiterated her country's support for efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen. She also stated that Austria will continue to provide humanitarian aids to the Yemeni people.
