Helicopters of the national military have continued to evacuate hundreds of families have been trapped amid heavy floods overwhelmed Al-Maharah province because of the (Lubab) tropical storm.
Governor of Al-Maharah Rajeh Bakreit told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) a number of helicopters have contributed to the underway evacuation efforts.
Bakreit voiced thanks for the Saudi-led Coalition for their contribution to the evacuation operations.
Al-Maharah has continued to be under heavy rain falls, with sweeping floods.
