Yemen's Non-resident Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammed Mutaher Al-Ashbi met Saturday with General Director of Middle East and Africa Department in the Afghani Foreign Ministry Jafeed Hashimi.
Discussions dealt with bilateral ties between the countries, explored prospects of further increasing Yemeni-Afghani cooperation in different fields.
Al-Ashbi informed Hashim about situations in our country, citing the legitimate government's efforts to establish peace that is based on the GCC's Initiative, its executive plan, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolutions in relevant, particularly 2216.
The Afghanis official stated that his government stance is in support of the legitimate government of Yemen and nation's security, stability and unity.
