The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) has announced providing relief donation worth USD 600 thousand for supporting efforts of humanitarian in Yemen.
The new donation is added to previous support of USD 950 thousand.
Ambassador of Yemen to Vienna HaithamShugauddin said the donation comes in the framework of permanent response by OFID for helping Yemeni people over war triggered by Houthi militia on the Yemeni people and in the framework of friendship and partnership between Yemen and the fund.
OFID's Director Sulaiman al-Harbash said the donation will be provided to the Red Cross in Yemen for financing relief activities.
